Manifesting your dream house

 I want to tell you how we manifested our dream house.

We bought our house in 2020. I moved back to Belgium from China beginning of 2019 and my husband followed me end of 2019. We didn't have any money in Belgium. I had to work in a restaurant or do other odd jobs to pay the rent while working on my business.

End of 2019, I even cried on Christmas Eve at my family's table as I had to pay about 7000 EUR in taxes for our company which I didn't have. We were at a low point financially. Beginning of 2020, I did another low paid job. I had to get up at 4am to drive to work which was from 6am till 2pm. This gave me time to work on my business in the afternoon and evening.

We were living in a small apartment at the time where the walls were so thin, that even just walking around in our shoes, the neighbor downstairs would always complain about the noise or just use his broom to knock on his ceiling, so we would be more quiet.

We wanted to buy a house, but of course with that little finances, we couldn't get a mortgage. In February, corona started to happen and something in me started to wake up. I set an intention that corona would make me rich. Everyone else started to panic, but I saw this as a big opportunity. First, I was looking for products that China needed for corona (e.g. touchless thermometers), but I found out everything was made in China, so we had no products to export to there.

Then, in March 2020, corona came to Europe and we were in lockdown. Our government needed mouth masks and other medical equipment to deal with the pandemic. I saw another chance. 

In the meantime, my husband, Eric, sometimes went to look on a site with houses for sale and he saw a beautiful mansion about half an hour from where we were living. I told him to stop dreaming, the price of the house was much more than a normal small house and we didn't even have the money for a small house. He kept on pushing me to at least go and see the house. It was at the beginning of the first lockdown, so we couldn't visit it, but at least we could see it from the outside. When I saw the house, I fell in love instantly, but the reality remained that we didn't have the money!

After that first time, we went to see the house every week! We saw ourselves living there, we dreamed of having barbecues in the garden, of waking up every morning in it,... We even put a 'down payment' in the wall (some small coins in a crack in the outside wall), to say that this house was ours.

For the rest of the time, we were busy trying to help the government to get mouth masks. I tried to contact someone at the government, but to no avail. I saw on the news that all mouth masks that came from China were fake. We could find good mouth masks and so, I kept trying to get through. I contacted the major hospitals in Belgium to see if we could help to buy mouth masks for them. Finally, the biggest hospital in Brussels put in an order, but by that time, the whole world was ordering mouth masks in China and with a 'small' order of 60.000 mouth masks, it was impossible to get a factory interested. The hospital then put me in contact with the government and they put in 2 orders for mouth masks and 2 orders for medical gloves. It became very real! We were busy day and night to fulfill those orders. It wasn't easy, because every country was ordering in China and they were bidding higher and higher to get the orders to their country. We lost 2 times ours, once to America (who had people near the factory and once an order came out, they gave double the price to get it themselves) and once to the United Kingdom. The orders for medical gloves were easier to fulfill. After about two months of sleepless nights, hours and hours trying to get through to China, dealing with changing laws and many other challenges, our mouth masks finally arrived in Belgium in June 2020! We fulfilled all the orders necessary! 

We didn't know if we would have made a profit as the price of mouth masks and of transport to Europe increased a lot (transport prices were 10x higher, just within a couple of months). The government had set the price at the beginning and we agreed to the price of a few months ago, so any loss, we had to take ourselves. Anyway, the biggest satisfaction was that we helped medical personnel to protect themselves! But, after we paid the transport costs and other costs, we found out we had a profit. We had enough to put a down payment on the house and get a mortgage from the bank.

We went to visit the house after the first lockdown and we immediately put in an offer. Normally, in Belgium there is some negotiation about the price and it could take a couple of months before both parties agree on the price. So, I was still not sure that we could get the house, someone could bid higher. There were a lot of people interested in it. But, we sat down at the real estate agent and when we said our price, he immediately called the owner of the house and only 15 minutes later, the agent returned and said that the owner approved our offer.

I could not believe it! Our dream house would be really our house!

I am living here for more than 4 years now and I still think it is a dream! I still can't believe how I have manifested this into my reality!
